The Poca Post is pleased to announce the issuance of a new stamp commemorating Mr. Yaeger Pretzel. Mr. Pretzel was born in Oberuntergau, Bavaria. His family immigrated to the U.S. when he was a small child. By 1884 the family had moved to Poca, West Virginia.

Yaeger Pretzel had a most uncommon ability. He could bend his body in a manner unlike any other. He was fond of contorting his anatomy to the dismay of his peers. By the age of 14 he had attracted the attention of the Burnam and Bialey Circus. He was hired by the circus in his 16th year, and he traveled with it until his retirement in 1914. He became famous as the "India Rubber Man," thus bringing acclaim to his hometown, Poca, West Virginia.

This stamp was issued by the Poca Post in a block of 16 stamps in the denominations of 10, 20, 30, and 40 pu (Poca Units).
